A strong environmental commitment

Because protection of the environment is everyone’s business, the Fromagerie Paul Dischamp has a strong environmental approach especially in terms of renewable energies.

It has optimised its energy balance with the construction in 2014 of a forestry wood chips boiler, which now produces 90% of the heat in the Saint-Nectaire plant.

The installation of solar panels on 70 farms making for an annual production exceeding 5 MWH of electricity from renewable sources also clearly vouches for our conviction to sustainable development aimed at protecting our environment.

The group operates two NH3 systems: non-polluting refrigerant with no greenhouse effect and no impact on the ozone layer.

Finally, like the whole sector, the Fromagerie Paul Dischamp is committed to collecting and processing the whey as close as possible to our producers.
